Air hockey is a game where two players play against each other on a low-friction table. The game requires an air-hockey table, two player-held strikers, and a puck. The main goal of this project is to increase the level of excitement of the game by switching one of the players with a robot. To build the project, we need some components and strategies. First of all, we need to build an air hockey table. Two motors with horizontal pipes that would move the robotic hand pusher in four directions are also needed. A camera would be placed on one side that controls the movements of the robot. The steps needed to build the project are as follows. First of all, we need to build the air hockey table, then we need to attach the table with two motors with horizontal pipes which will be used mainly to help the movement of the striker in vertical and horizontal directions. After all that we will use image processing to make the calculations needed for the striker position. An option to manually control the robot using a mobile phone will be implemented to add enthusiasm to the game.en_US
