Abstract
The graduation project, "Renaissance from Ashes," aims to present an architectural and cultural approach that reflects the human capacity to rise from the rubble and reformulate collective memory. The project was based on a study of the philosophy of place and its relationship to Palestinian identity, adopting rubble and destruction as narrative symbols representing the past and the wound, contrasting them with elements of revival, nature, and water, which embody hope and continuity. The design is based on a tiered architectural formation that wraps around itself to tell the visitor's story along a symbolic path, beginning with the ruins and ending at a platform overlooking the sea, symbolizing the future and openness. The research also addressed theoretical aspects related to the role of museums in preserving memory and building identity, in addition to examining the natural and historical context of the site and the mechanisms for integrating architecture and the natural landscape. The result is a narrative architectural space that balances documentation and symbolism, grief and hope, transforming the museum from a mere display building to an emotional experience that redefines the visitor's relationship with history and memory.
