Abstract
The development of city entrances is an idea that has been greatly expanded throughout the word because the entrance of the city is an important part of it .it gives a preliminary picture of the place to enter the person and draws a special identity of the city .
The city of Nablus is one of the most important Palestinian cities and
plays an important role in the economy, education and other aspects of life. This project focused on the development of The western entrance to the city of Nablus, where the entrance was determined from the end of An-Najah University to the Jet-Surra junction, where this entrance connects to the city of Nablus with Qalqilya.
The region was analyzed and the opportunities and challenges were
drawn. Accordingly, a number of development projects were proposed, such as proposing a master plan for the use of land for the current scheme, city gate ,Redesign streets
