Abstract
In this project, we selected the Building of faculty of Architecture at An- Najah National University New Campus. A student in the department of Architectural Engineering designed this new building. Architecture, as it is called by many, is known as a complete, integrated science, in addition to that it constitutes an art of creative arts and design arts. Architecture engineering specializes in aspects of design, construction and construction as well, and because of the increasing number of applicants to study this specialty in the College of Engineering, it is necessary to study a project that provides appropriate services for these students.
The main objective of this project is to assess the architectural, environmental and safety aspects of the design and its compliance with international standards. In addition, this evaluation is based on architectural references, codes, requirements and We have designed the structural system of the building as a reinforced concrete building with natural stone facade.
We designed the electrical , water, sanitation, fire and HVAC systems for this public building. We used Design Builder simulation to prove the energy efficiency of the building. The simulation results show that the energy intensity of the building in kWh/m2.year which is much lower than baseline consumption intensity of similar buildings ( kWh/m2.year)considerations.
