Abstract
Project overview InnCuVation Spaces We are living nowadays in the world of the information revolution. Sciences became the basis of societies’ life and the central point for their growth and development. Science was not limited to only one aspect, rather, it extends to all aspects of life, particularly in economic development, consequently, as a developing country we have to do our role to achieve development by investing our minds to grow in our society. This project aimed to promote and develop a space to embrace entrepreneurs, researchers and students and provide them with a suitable environment for work and innovation. This idea will boost economic growth through a knowledge economy. It is wholeheartedly supporting the national innovation strategy while reinforcing our nation’s culture of innovation. From here the role of architecture came to create a suitable environment that stimulates research and promoting Innovation, Incubation and Venturing of students’ projects and start-ups. From this perspective, the idea of (InnCuVation Spaces) began. This term has a secret in its combination as architecture do, it combined the concepts of Innovation, Incubation, and Venturing as the Technology park do. Owing to the fact that, technology is the basis of development nowadays it must be used as a reference in applying. If we look at the general environment around us, we will find that the basis of all technological development is a small square, flexible, changeable unit called (Pixel). Therefore, the square (Pixel) unit will be adopted for the construction of this project. emanated on the social life that the word PARK expresses, the project must be based on integrating science and partnership. The project location was chosen for several reasons that appear during the attached research, but one of the most important of these reasons is that this land is classified as a military area by the occupation, so from this standpoint, we stress that no matter how the occupation tries to discourage and demolish development, we will rebuild ourselves unit by unit just as the park will build. Concrete was used as a basic building material in the project to reflect its symbolism, as it is linked in the minds of the Palestinian people to the apartheid wall, which destroys ambitions, otherwise, it was used in this project in white, which expresses freedom and calls for ambition and development. Iron bars were used to indicate the strength of cohesion and bonding despite the diversity and difference.
