Abstract
Super market bravo has a vital activity inside it as it contains most of the goods and products that
people and family’s needs. It is solving the crisis in city center with it is multi spaces which
service most of the family member. It is an area with approximately 3500 m2
, it is located at BetWazan which is in the west entrance of Nablus city, it is far away from Nablus city center about
to 10 Km. The aim of this report was to study all engineering aspects from architectural,
environmental, structural and electro-mechanical of bravo then make a general review of the
advantages and weakness points in their present design and problem inside it.
Then, this processed started with evaluation the problems with the architectural review, the
spaces at most in the building were designed with standard but there is a lack in some spaces
such as an electronics shop and home accessories were added, in addition to the prayer area
which was not enough and cannot even been used. Additionally, to make easy connection
between service areas, shopping area and Jasmine café with the master entrance. In addition, the
shelves in bravo were edited to make it with rounded edge, which is better than the acute edge.
After that, the parking area was redesigned which was not enough and had less parking lots than
the specification recommended as a result of that it is excavated a basement area below the
parking area with an area about to 2500m² and making a connection with the ground parking
with a ramp with a slope equal to 13%, and escalator for people movement with slope about to
11%.
After the architecture aspect, the next step was the environmental and electro-mechanical, the
site of project and project itself was analyzed with respect to noise, ventilation, solar radiation,
car circulation and movements. The building itself was analyzed also with respect to natural and
day lighting inside the building, heating and cooling loads in the project were evaluated using
Design builder program, and making some modifications and redesign all system.
After all, the structural accepts was taken in consideration and making a design of it all the
blocks in the project were studied with 3D modeling, making checks on them, and drawing full
detail.
Finally, the costs of the whole project with all the modifications were added.
