Abstract
Smart electricity grid is JAVA and WEB system developed to help the workers in the North Electricity Distribution Company solving the problem of frequent disconnection in electricity. This system enables the workers to monitor the generators all the time, if in any fault occurs in one of them the system will notify and warning the workers, and the system itself will find possible alternative solutions . This system is controlled by using Algorithm, it automatically identifies the fault generator and then searches for the most appropriate alternative solution. This will reduce the time required for the worker to solve the problem of power cuts and provide better service to the customer. The system consists of four parts, the first one is java app that show the GUI of the grid, it shows the geographical drawing of the generators in addition to the attached building and the connections between them. The second part is the algorithm which depends on some parameters(distance between the nodes, loads on each node, the heat on the generator). The third part is the machine learning, how to make the system work automatically and discover the fault then give the solution. The fourth part is web app connected with the java part using shared data base. It receiving the notification from java part if any fault happened Each worker can see the number of generators in any region and the percentage of usage of each generator in time periods also generate reports and charts, also they can chat with admins and other workers, and many other features.
