Abstract
One of the most imperative issue that must be considered in order to protect our environment is water pollutants which are relative to domestic and industrial effluents represented by chemical waste, sewerage waste…etc. One of the most powerful technique is the Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) which takes a place due to its degradability of the waste effluents. AOP technique depends mainly on producing hydroxyl radicals (∙OH) with the help of magnetic Nano-catalyst (MNC). In this project, a bench scale setup provides continues wastewater flow was built which mainly depends on using four stages mechanism and regenerating MNC with help of the magnetic field. Moreover, this study should help in quantifying the efficiency, performance, and the economics of wastewater treatment on an industrial scale. An experimental study on parametric optimization was done in the chemical laboratory, which helps in establishing a bench-scale setup that provides continuous flow. The proposed design, to the best of our knowledge, has not been reported in the literature. This study was optimized two types of agents which were Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Sodium Persulfate (Na2S2O8) to be used in Wastewater treatment process. The aim of using Na2S2O8 was focused on reduce the process cost due to its low cost
