Abstract
Locus is basically a service implemented as a mobile application aims to connect and relate memories, stories events and different information, with places and locations. It enables posting details, pictures, events and more to a certain place and also give the ability to others to view what has been posted in a certain spot on the map, which can be useful in many ways such as giving people the ability to rate and review shops and restaurants. Also, can be used as a tourist guide as the user can view information about certain place others have provided and posted. Promoting shops and restaurant is a focused part in this project, where a shop or a restaurant owner can provide menus, offers and other information to the app using a separate website letting people able to see them whenever they are close to the shop location. This project was implemented using cross platform technology to support major mobile platforms in market, mainly Android and IOS. Ionic framework was used to implement the application and Node JS for the server side and bootstrap for the dashboard website.
