Abstract
Palestine suffers from a lack of natural resources and mineral wealth, but the Palestinians most severe suffering lies in the scarcity of traditional energy resources, such as oil and gas, which have high prices (one of the most expensive countries in the world). The official data indicate that the percentage of electricity available to the Palestinian citizen does not exceed 15% of what is available to the Israeli. As well as less than half of what is available to citizens in neighboring countries, as well as the large difference in price for the benefit of Israelis or citizens of neighboring countries. In addition, Israeli occupation controls the market of the fuel and oil, for both quantity and prices. Palestinian starts using renewable energy resources, which comes in line with the increasing global trends in the exploitation of alternative energy resources. Palestinian are now concentrated in renewable energy resources of the solar and wind. Palestine is located at 30 degrees north of the equator, which means that the solar energy falling on each square meter is estimated at three thousand kilowatt-hours, and this is very high in the positive sense. In addition Palestine has more than 300 sunny days per year, making it one of the best areas for solar and wind exploitation, making investment in this area feasible and economically feasible.
