Abstract
The main goal of this project is to analyze and redesign businessmen forum building in Nablus city in order to give a better design for the building which is more suitable for use.
And these objectives include:
1. Architectural design: it considers the functional relationships between rooms and different spaces and the circulation inside the building, the design will take in consideration that all areas will be suitable for the occupants to use and match the standards. And also the design will take into consideration that it will be suitable for disabled people.
2. Structural design: the design could achieve the functional objective of the building. And could satisfy serviceability, strength, and economic structural design which achieve the required quality related to standards and codes.
3. Environmental design: the design will take into consideration many aspects such as heating, cooling, sun light and acoustics, the orientation of the building. And also use the suitable number of luminaires which must match the standards.
4. Mechanical design: design the HVAC system will be used in the building by using design builder program, design drainage and sewage system and also take into consideration the safety in the building such as fire and alarm system.
