Abstract
the site of the project was chosen to take part in the city of Nablus due to lack of such kind of projects. Where it's considered as the link between the new campus of Al-Najah National University and Beit Iba, trying to enroll students in such School.
The concept started from the point where i tried to interpret the meaning of "Music" or "Rhythm" to be more accurate by having a mass that's capable of representing the school of music and reflect the image of rhythm and harmony.Hence I used long strips with varied lengths for each north and south elevations.
the harmony of the mass shaped the main axis, defining the Entrance of the project and interior and exterior spaces (west section devoted for educational activities and east section for public spaces.
The whole project has one basement- that came as solution to keep the continuity of the harmony- and three other floors.
