Any negligence to this sector will increase national risk and cause the health problems to multiply. Public health expenditure is extremely important for the survival of any society. This study aim to understand the size of the total government expenditure on health sector in Palestine, which is a key element of the national health security and also aim at identifying the linkages between the economics and social factors that may influence the size health expenditure. It has been demonstrated that factors such as per capita income which is a measures of economic development; and other health outcomes variables such as life expectancy at birth, total fertility rate, and crude birth rate might influence health expenditure. The findings of this study will help policy makers build national health policies aim at protecting and preserving the health sector from any unexpected risk such as deterioration of health services and spread of diseases.
