This study was an attempt to answer the following main question which is: What is the effectiveness of employing Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 in measuring the Achievement of the sixth graders in the subject of “Technology” and their attitudes to learn it? The following questions were formed from the main question: 1. What is the effectiveness of teaching the unit of “Communication & Information Technology” by using Adobe Flash in the achievement of students? 2. What is the effectiveness of using Adobe Flash in the attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology”? 3. What is the relation between the achievement and the attitudes towards learning of the subject of “Technology” at (α=0.05) of the sixth graders in learning the unit of “Communication & Information Technology”? In order to answer those questions and test its hypotheses; the researcher employed the Qusai- experimental Design. The population of the study was all the students in the sixth grade in Nablus governmental schools that their number reached (2551) students. This study was applied on a sample, which comprised students from the sixth grade of Hajja Rashda Al.Masri Girl’s High School. This sample was divided into two groups, namely: experimental and controll. The experimental group studied the unit of “Communication & Information Technology” by using Adobe Flash. The controll group studied the same unit by following the traditional way in the first term from the scholastic year 2014-2015. The following tools were applied on this study: 1. An immediate achievement test was done to measure the students’ achievement after they finished the unit of “Communication & Information Technology“. It was verified by presenting it to a committee of arbiters. Further, its reliability cefficient was calculated to be (0.72). 2. A scale of students’ attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology” was applied to measure students’ attitudes before & after using Adobe Flash. It was verified by presenting it to a committee of arbiters. Further, its reliability cefficient was calculated to be (0.652). In order to analyze the data, the researcher used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (hereinafter referred to as SPSS). Further, the means and standard deviations were calculated to describe the achievement of both the experimental and the controll groups in the achievement test and students attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology” scale ANCOVA was done to test the differences significance in the mean of achievement and attitudes in both groups (the experimental and the controll) and Person Correlation Coefficient. After analyzing the data, the researcher drew a number of conclusions, namely: 1. There is a statistical significant differences at the significance level of (α=0.05) between the means of the achievement of the sixth graders, who studied the unit of ”Communication & Information Technology” by using Adobe Flash (the experimental group) and the ones who studied the same unit using the traditional way (the controlling group). The achievement test was in favor of the experimental group. 2. There is a statistical significant differences at the significance level of (α=0.05) between the means of the attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology” of the sixth graders, who studied the unit of ”Communication & Information Technology” by using Adobe Flash (the experimental group) and the ones who studied the same unit using the traditional way (the controll group). The scale of the attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology” measurement was in favor of the experimental group. 3. There is a positive relation at the significance level of (α=0.05) between the academic achievement and the attitudes towards learning the subject of “Technology”. In light of these results, the researcher recommended using Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 in producing computerized educational programs to the positive results, which this study showed. This program developed the achievement of the students and their attitudes towards the learning technology. Furthermore, it is necessary to hold workshops and courses for teachers and supervisors to raise their awareness to the importance of activating such computerized educational programs and employing them as a novel technology in the field of teaching & education.
