Abstract
The need for the existence of this type of projects in our Palestinian society has emerged, and an attempt to answer the question why there are no such projects
in our society, and if they exist, they are scarce and few, and no one has knowledge of them. Studying cinematic and theatrical projects in general, and the relevant
premises for this in particular, for the possibility of obtaining a summary of a project that can be implemented and applied in reality.
The objectives of this research are concerned with studying and analyzing cinema and theater buildings at the global and local levels as well, in addition to
various and different design, architectural and planning standards, and our various social conditions, customs and traditions related to this sector, and on the other
hand, it strengthens and supports entertainment in society The Palestinian, and most importantly, the establishment of a project that presents a story of the
Palestinian stories in the cinema and theater sector, and what it suffered over the years from the occupation and abuse in various ways.
The beginning of the research depends mainly on taking into account our situation as an occupied country and our social situation as a conservative society, based
on case studies and analysis of a project land and different scientific design criteria from different references and information sources.
The project consists of several cinema and theatrical halls of various sizes and functions. It also includes their recreational and service facilities such as a restaurant,
cafeteria, exhibition or gallery, which is an essential part of answering questions raised in our society, why, where and when. Why are there no theaters and cinemas in
Our country, if it exists, is scarce, and where did the old cinemas go!!!!?
