Abstract
Water resources and sanitation in Palestine are characterized by shortage and are highly influenced by Israeli occupation. As such, it is necessary to provide Palestinians with enough quantity of water and with acceptable quality. In addition, to prevent pollution for the environment among which the groundwater resources, sewer system is also very crucial.  This project aims to study the domestic water needs, estimate the rate of consumption per capita, reducing water loss, find alternatives for cesspits and. The study area for this project will be in Siris village located in Jenen governorate at a distance of about 22 km to the southeast. The main objectives of this project are to design a water supply network for Siris village to meet the requirements for the next 50 years. In addition to design, a sewer system so the citizen of the village can use instead of using cesspits so this will reduce potential pollution and diseases resulting from wastewater, which will help to improve the quality of life in the study area.   To achieve the aforementioned objectives, firstly, all relevant data will be collected. For instant, water supply and demand, topography, population and wastewater production. Secondly, water distribution network and wastewater collection system is to be designed by using the WaterCAD and SewerCAD softwares, respectively. Finally, conclu1sions and recommendations will be given.
