| dc.description.abstract | This research deals with the wergild of the Muslim woman. It defines what is meant by the wergild and showed the aim of its legitimacy. Then it showed the basis of specifying the wergild and the kind of money that it should be paid in. This research is also intended to specify the amount of the wergild of the Muslim woman discussing the jurisprudents' opinions who say it is half of the wergild of the Muslim man. Those who say this are the majority of scholars. The research is also intended to deal with those who say that the wergild of the Muslim woman is equal to that of the Muslim man. This research concluded that the wergild of the Muslim woman is Similar to the wergild of the Muslim man. | en |
