Abstract
The aim of the project is to set up a remote-control system in the infrastructure using the (SCADA) system to control the power transmission station (high voltage / medium voltage) and control the desalination plant in addition to controlling the water pumping station for the consumer. SCADA is an abbreviation for Supervisory Control and Data Collection System, and it refers to industrial control systems, and it is a computer system for monitoring and controlling operations, and the nature of these operations changes according to the systems prepared for them. In the electricity transmission station, control (opening / closing) of the transmission lines distributed to residential neighborhoods, in addition to the power transformer monitoring system and an alarm in the event of an overload. In the desalination plant, a control and monitoring system has been established for the automation process in desalination, starting with the withdrawal of water from the sea, passing through the purification filters, then evaporation, then condensation, adding mineral salts to pure water and transferring it to the pumping station. In the pumping station, a control and monitoring system has been set up for the station. The control system aims to maintain the pressure in the water network regardless of the change in water demand in the network, while the monitoring system is to monitor the status of the pumps and the tank.
