This study aims at clarifying the nature of parliamentary control on the acts of the executive authority and its importance in preventing the management from exceeding practicing its competences, and controlling illegal acts by the government. It also aims at clarifying the means of parliamentary control in constitutional system of Jordan, namely: question, interrogation and parliamentary investigation, requests of general discussion, proposal based on desire, petitions and complaints, and the role of the aforementioned means in control and accountability. Entirely, these means lead to one objective, namely, controlling the practices of the government, and considering the consequences that might be resulted upon activating the political liability of the government in case of failing to comply with the implementation of its general policies approved previously by the parliament. This study concluded to determine the constraints of parliamentary control; specify its causes; and propose the legal and administrative solutions to restrict or prevent them in order to be an effective control.en
