Abstract
With the increasing pressure on the political and economic situation in Palestine in general, the increase in electricity consumption in particular, the scarcity of energy sources and the difficulty of establishing private power stations. All of these were primary motives to search for More efficient methods of energy auditing. Previous projects have included research into renewable energy sources and their exploitation, in addition to energy audit studies, as there are many different energy audit studies for the good and bad sectors. Therefore, to achieve higher efficiency in such projects, previous studies had to be evaluated. In this research, the reports of a specific organization were relied upon. These reports included energy audit studies in various sectors. These reports spoke generally without going into details of the equipment and the causes of high consumption, so it was necessary to clarify their strengths and weaknesses on scientific grounds. In the end, the results are clear, showing how poor the reports are compared to peers from research studies on the same topic. Additionally, the most important aspects of future studies are clarified. Therefore, it was necessary to develop these studies to open the way for institutions and stakeholders to provide studies with higher efficiency in energy conservation.
