Footing maybe uniform thickness or have a sloped top, this is one of the most economical types of footings, and it used when columns are spaced at relatively long distance. The most commonly used are square footings with uniform thickness.           Steel design    Steel structures have many uses and applications in our life, for example: Industrial/Parking structures FramesJoists/TrussesHigh rise buildingsGirder bridgesTruss bridgesCable stayed & suspended bridges Once we finish modeling on SAP2000, three checks must be made:( checks will be performed on the 2D middle truss of length 21.5 )Compatability: by inspection, the compatability was satisfied.Equilibrium: the sum of forces acting must equal the sum of the forces on the supports in the same direction.           Design of connections     The maximum tension force in the bottom members = 445.1 KN which will be considered for the design.(the connection ID is 52)  en
