Abstract
This project aims to design a tourist and recreational resort on the beach of Gaza City as a starting point for a brighter future for the city after liberation. Despite the siege and difficult economic conditions, the city possesses tremendous natural and tourism potential.
Its enchanting beach and prime location make it an ideal destination for developing tourism projects that capitalize on the natural beauty and history of the area. However, long years of siege have significantly impacted infrastructure and investment opportunities, making such a project a necessity for achieving economic and social recovery.
The project is expected to boost local income and provide direct and indirect job opportunities, contributing to strengthening the economic and social structure of the region. The project relied on a comprehensive and integrated study of the target area, including a geographical, environmental, and cultural analysis of the site, as well as an innovative architectural design that combines tourism attractiveness with environmental sustainability, while taking into account local challenges and available opportunities. The project focuses on creating a comprehensive resort that combines entertainment and sustainability. It offers integrated facilities, including hotel rooms and villas with unobstructed sea views, swimming pools, play areas, health clubs, and vast green spaces. The resort also offers restaurants and cafes that reflect Palestinian culture and offer a unique experience for visitors. The project's design takes into account the local environment and is based on an in-depth study of the needs of residents and visitors. After liberation, this project is expected to become a symbol of the reconstruction and revitalization of Gaza, aiming to create new job opportunities, boost the local economy, and attract tourists from around the world. Furthermore, the project reflects Palestinian cultural identity and contributes to the preservation of national heritage. This resort is a step toward building a better future for Gaza and its people, embodying hope in transforming challenges into opportunities and highlighting the great potential of this city.
