dc.description.abstract	Our Palestinian cities suffer from the deterioration of the economic, political and planning conditions, as a result of the Israeli occupation that has taken control of the Palestinian territories as well as the absence of the legislative authority and the proper planning of land for a long time. This has led to the emergence of random urbanization and land misuse, which has created a poor transportation network, thus creating a non-urban and informal form of cities. The study highlights the current situation of the cities of the transport network, land use and problems, and attempts to develop solutions and proposals that help to link the use of land to the most appropriate form and planning for transportation. This study is especially concerned with Qalqilya, the study area, which suffers from a variety of problems. The most important of these is the presence of the Apartheid Wall, which constitutes a major obstacle to transportation and land use, and the increase in population in the city is critical. The city is confined within the wall to prevent expansion, which negatively affects the movement of transport and increase the pressure on the main streets and the emergence of the need for solutions to this problem. This has led to the presence of new areas in need of services and public facilities in the areas on the outskirts of the city, which led to the need for roads and streets to connect the city center and delivery of public services. Due to the absence of legislations and authorities to regulate the use of the land, random distribution of land uses and overlapping between them emerged.
