Abstract
We live and expand vertically, so why we don't farm vertically and create vertical
public places? Today, the world is witnessing a tremendous urban expansion at the
expense of green areas, both agricultural and recreational. Day after day, our planet
turns into a forest of suffocating concrete blocks with no life or vitality. a shortage in
the global food basket, the spread of health and psychological diseases, global
warming and rising temperatures, all this and more is mainly due to the lack of green
spaces as a result of urban expansion, this project aims to stop the permanent battle
between nature and architecture by providing new green buildings as an artificial
lung for the built environment. This project aims to merge nature into our building
using biophilic architecture this type of project archives environmental, social, and
economic benefits, moreover, these projects help to improve the visual aspects and
create a unique experience in the surrounding that force you to discover it and know
what is behind it. You walk long distances between concrete and stone boxes that
are lifeless and have no message and then you collide with an artificial forest that
brings you to hope again with the possibility of change and taking a step back to
rethink the relationship between architecture and nature in a way that enhances the
quality of both
