Office building project

Abstract

The office building is a type of building that used as a business center, which contain many spaces that called offices. The main reason of our thinking is that the functionality of the office buildings that providing services in our country doesnt offers the aims for which it where designed. we design an office building for Alwatania mobile company. the objectives that achieved in this project are choosing the better architectural, structural, and mechanical requirements that achieve the environmental targets for offices design. The methodology adopted for this project based principally on designing the building using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology with the codes of the design to improve the performance of the building with the integrated design. The programs we used was Revit architecture, Revit structure, robot structure, AutoCAD structural detailing, Vasari, safe, and all these programs deals with BIM, and we use Dialux for calculating the required lighting. The codes of design was ACI 318-08 metric for the structural analysis and design, UBC 97 for the seismic design, ASHRI for calculated heating and cooling load.
