dc.description.abstractReinforced concrete structures are one of the most popular structure systems used in our country, this project addresses the analysis and design of a reinforced concrete structural system that is located in Al-Makhfiyyah, Nablus, which consists of nine floors having total required area about 5756 m2.  Baitona Residential Building project represents the design of a multi-functional building. The building contains stories to be used for residential and commercial purposes.  The proposed design is evaluated for resisting gravity and lateral loads (Seismic), these types of Projects are of good advantages. This project will help people to find places to live in and it will create jobs for the Palestinians.  A 3-D structural model analysis is required for the building under static and dynamic loads. The analysis is verified using conceptual hand calculation for 2-D model. Detailed design using manual and a software program will also be presented.       en
