Our graduation project is a robot based on the powerful ATMEL Microcontroller and the ARM BeagleBoard technologies. The robot body is made of Lego blocks to reduce the effort on mechanics and focus more on computer engineering concepts. The robot hardware mainly consists of three stepper motors for movement, direction, camera, and forklift features. Also, ultrasonic sensors for edge detection and following features. In addition to that its provided with a microphone and a speaker for communication. The Robot listens to certain commands, analyse them and perform them, for instance, the robot can be told to move in a certain direction. Also, its provided with an artificial intelligent system (when connected to the internet) that allows users to chat with the robot as they chat to a human.en
