Abstract
This project examines more than one concept and attempts to integrate these concepts together to produce new creation, thinking and content for the building, integrating part of the function of museums and exhibitions as well as a center to embrace the category of young Palestinian artists. Resistance can take many forms, in Palestine the existence is resistance. During the past 55 years, Palestinians have found many innovative ways to resist the Israeli occupation and one such way, but it is certainly not the only one, art. Palestinian art and occupation go so hand in hand that the historical and political confrontations of this conflict have affected the Palestinian cultural landscape and vice versa. The project aims to demonstrate how art in its various forms is part of the daily Palestinian resistance techniques used by the Palestinian artist, addressing not only how art has challenged the results of this conflict but also how the conflict has affected the Palestinian art scene. In short, we can consider it a shelter for Palestine's artistic history and save it from loss and extinction. Palestinian art is a distinctive art, and it is the conclusion of our existence on this Earth for thousands of years. The Palestinian artist has been creative in showing and highlighting him in a different and profound way from the past to the present and the future But the turning point in the history of the Palestinian people was the Israeli occupation itself. The aggression and Judaism not only took away land and houses, destroyed villages, displaced and killed their inhabitants, Blurring history and Palestinian art was one of the biggest forms of aggression. Palestinian art in all its forms and attributes to Israel, from Palestinian uniforms through polytechnic glass, pottery and sculptures to popular food and much more. In addition to all the above, the other aspect is the tangible poverty in the fields of the arts and the lack of interest in them and in the Palestinian artist. The art centre will highlight the visual art and its social, political and cultural influences. In turn, it will deal with the creative aspect of our lives and focus on the creative youth potential in Palestine. Most importantly, it will focus on providing its services to all those interested in the field of art from different age groups, as well as providing mobile space for creators in the city to experience the works of artists, support their talents and develop them.
