dc.description.abstract | This study aimed at developing a standard procedure for the design of large-scale institutional gridconnected solar PV systems. The performance of the 3-MW grid-connected solar PV system was also simulated using PVGIS-helioclim solar radiation database. The project begin with a feasibility study of a 3-MW grid-conducted solar PV system. The developed procedure was used in the design of a 3-MW grid-connected solar PV system at An-Najah National University. The technical and financial performances of the 3-MW gridconnected solar PV system were simulated using PVGIS-helioclim solar radiation database. The preliminary analyses of the simulation results showed that the project is socially beneficial to the community with an annual energy yield of about 5760000 kw/year. | en_US |
