Determining the degree of Educational Needs of the Educational Supervisors in the Northern governorate of the West Bank

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, in addition the study aimed to test the effect of gender, qualification, experience, specialization and job variables on supervisors and principals opinions of the determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank. The study population consisted of all supervisors and principals in the governorates of the West Bank. They were (191) supervisors and (636) principals. The study sample consisted of (358) supervisors and principals, approximately (43.3%) of the study. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire based on literature and related studies. The questionnaire validity was achieved by a panel of judges. The reliability coefficient was computed by Cronbach Alpha equation and it was (0.97). The questionnaire was distributed to a stratified random sample. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) with t-test and ANOVA. The study obtained the following results: First: There is a high level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view. Second : There are no significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, due to gender in the domains of managerial needs and personal needs, while there are significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, due to gender in the domain of social needs, professional needs, psychological needs, financial needs and total degree in favor of males. Third : There are no significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, due to job in the domains of social needs, professional needs, personal needs and total degree while there are significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, due to job in the domain of managerial needs and psychological needs in favor of supervisors. Fourth: There are no significant differences at the significance level(α = 0.05) in the level of determining the educational needs of educational supervisors in the directorates of north of West Bank from their point of view and principals point of view, due to experience, qualification and specialization. Accordingly to the findings of the study results, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations, including: - The improvement of educational supervisors' life, specially salaries to enable them to close their needs and to ensure a good life for their families. - The improvement of supervisor work place environment and treatment as he needs to work independent and private climate. Also he needs to be supported by heads of work.
هدفت الدراسة التعرف على مستوى تحديد الحاجات التربوية للمشرفين التربويين في محافظات شمال الضفة الغربية، من وجهة نظرهم ووجهة نظر المديرين، بالإضافة إلى بيان اثر متغيرات الدراسة : الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، والخبرة، والتخصص، والوظيفة في آراء المشرفين التربويين والمديرين حول مستوى تحديد الحاجات التربوية للمشرفين التربويين في محافظات شمال الضفة الغربية، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من المشرفين التربويين والمديرين في محافظات شمال الضفة الغربية، والبالغ عددهم (191) مشرفاً و(636) مديراً. واختيرت منه عينة بطريقة طبقية عشوائية، وتكونت من (358) مشرفاً ومديراً، أي ما يقارب (43%) تقريباً من مجتمع الدراسة، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، قام الباحث بإعداد استبانة بالاعتماد على الأدب النظري والدراسات ذات الصلة، وتم التأكد من صدق الإستبانة من خلال عرضها على لجنة من المحكمين وتم استخراج معامل الثبات بواسطة معادلة كرونباخ ألفا، حيث بلغ (0.97)، وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) من خلال اختبار " ت"، وتحليل التباين.
