Abstract
Water is life, its the most required to the human being to survive on the planet, and the lack of it could be the end of life. Although the water is represent approximately more than 70 % of planet area, there is a lack in water resources and supply. However, the distribution of water resources for different regions in the West Bank is very limited because of Israeli occupation and unfair control of water resources.  The situation becomes worse given the lack of sewer systems, and the associated potential pollution risks for the available water resources mainly the groundwater. This graduation project aims to design water distribution network and wastewater collection system for Shwaika which is located north of Tulkarm city and has a 5000 inhabitance. For this area the existing water and wastewater systems be evaluated. So, we should design a new water network and wastewater system for Shwaika using computer software (such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, GIS, etc.) The WaterCAD and SewerCAD softwares are to be used in designing of water distribution network and wastewater collection system, respectively. To achieve the project objectives, firstly, the relevant data which include (water supply and demand, topography, population, etc.) is collected from the Tulkarm Municipality. Secondly, layouts of the water and wastewater collection networks are prepare using AutoCAD. Finally, layouts are uploading to the design models to end up with proper design for both water and wastewater collection networks.
