Zinc oxide (ZnO) is widely used in many industries. ZnO nanoparticles has excellent potential for use in water and wastewater treatment, whether as a photocatalyst or incorporated in membrane. In the first stage of project we focus on synthesis of ZnO by three methods: (i) ZnO nanoparticle synthesis by zinc acetate using; (ii) thermal decomposition of zinc hydrateand finally, by thermal decomposition of zinc carbonate. then analyze the product ZnO powders for particle size by using UV-VIS spectroscopy. The synthesis of ZnO nanoparticle was successfully done by three method but each method has different particle size at different temperature. It was found that as the temperature increased the particle was became larger. Also; as the time is increased the particles became larger.en_US
