dc.description.abstractGBV remain concern affecting adolescent globally, with effects often intensified by cultural, societal norm in Arab communities, This research explore links between GBV, self-injurious behavior, resilience, Self efficacy on sample of 48 Arab adolescent girls aged 15 to 21, primary objective to uncover factors that could mitigate tendencies toward self-harm, Utilizing cross-sectional methodology, data was gathered from 464 female participants drawn from various community backgrounds across 48 Arab in Israel, study employed validated assessment tools to evaluate experiences of GBV, engagement on self-harm, levels of resilience, perceptions of Self efficacy, Advanced statistical techniques, including structural equation modeling, mediation analysis, was used to examine how resilience, Self efficacy may directly or indirectly influence connection between GBV exposure, selfharming behaviors. Results indicated moderate acceptance of GBV in sample, with psychological, emotional abuse emerging most frequently reported form, Self-harm behaviors were moderate overall, with physical neglect and social withdrawal as most common manifestations, Resilience and self-efficacy were identified as significant mediators, partially buffering adverse effects of GBV on self-harm, combined mediation model demonstrated that both constructs explained 48.3% of variance in self-harm behaviors, with self-efficacy emerging as stronger protective factor, These results highlight importance of culturally sensitive interventions that enhance resilience and self-efficacy to mitigate psychological impact of GBV and reduce self-harm risks in this vulnerable population.
