Qalqilya city suffers from many problems related to its drinking water distribution networks and wastewater collection networks. This networks of the Municipality doesn't reach all of the built areas. Mainly, those areas that are located behind the Apartheid Separation Wall but out of Municipality control due to political considerations. Those disadvantaged areas are classified (C) upon to Oslo Accord, which means that it lies under the Israeli control and so Qalqilya municipality can't construct anything without obtaining the Israeli approval.  AL-Marjneighbourhood, is an agricultural area located in the north-east of Qalqilya, suffers from accelerating rate of new buildings and houses because of scarcity of residential lands in the city, and this case limited the ability of the municipality to provide enough infrastructure to serve this including drinking water and  disposal of wastewater. Nowadays, people in the neighbourhood get their daily needs bybeing fed with water by a random and scattered water distribution network and they dispose sewage by creating cesspits which can't meet the needs in the next years in addition to its dangerous effect on local environment. To solve this problem and to face future needs, a project of new water distribution network and wastewater collection network design for AL-Marjneighbourhoodwill be illustrated hereafter. This assignment requires using hydraulic principles including WaterCADand SewerCADsoftware in addition to utilizing GIS after assessing the recent situation. Output of the design tabulated will be presented in (figures, plan views and profiles) to estimate the cost of construction of the two networks.  en
