| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to highlight the role of natural and anthropogenic factors causing the phenomenon of desertification in the study area and clarify the impact on agricultural development, and the role of the Israeli occupation in the aggravation of this phenomenon. This study covers three important topics in the fluctuation of rainfall and recurrent droughts, pollution and low productivity of the soil. It Used statistical methods for multiple analysis and interpret the results, graphs and different maps to illustrate this. the results showed the rule of the phenomenon of desertification (90%) of the study area, and 64% of the area of Palestine; the increasing temperature by 1.2 degrees Celsius during the study period; frequency of drought years (50% of the study period), in addition to the spread urbanization and the increase in population and the high loss of the agricultural sector. In light of these findings the study recommends the adoption of a national action plan concerned with development projects and the protection of cultivated land for continuous development and reduce the growing problem of desertification. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز دور العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية المسببة لظاهرة التصحر في منطقة الدراسة، وببان أثرها على التنمية الزراعية، ودور الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في تفاقم هذه الظاهرة. - تناولت الدراسة ثلاثة مواضيع هامة تمثلت في تذبذب الأمطار، وتكرار حالات الجفاف وتلوث إنتاجية التربة وتدنيها. - استخدمت الدراسة أساليب إحصائية متعددة لتحليل النتائج وتفسيرها، وأشكال بيانية وخرائط مختلفة لتوضيح ذلك. وقد أظهرت النتائج سيادة ظاهرة التصحر (90%) من منطقة الدراسة، و64% من مساحة فلسطين، وتزايد درجة الحرارة بمعدل 2.1 درجة مئوية خلال فترة الدراسة، وتكرار سنوات الجفاف (50% من فترة الدراسة)، إضافة إلى امتداد رقعة العمران وزيادة عدد السكان وارتفاع خسارة القطاع الزراعي. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج أوصت الدراسة بتبني خُطة عمل وطنية تهتم بمشاريع التنمية وحماية الأرض المزروعة من أجل تنمية مستديمة، والحد من تفاقم مشكلة التصحر. | ar |
