This study sought to identify the effect of AI-Aqsa Intifada on problems related to children's psychology of play from Principals' and teachers' points of view in Northern Governorates of Palestine. To this end, the study endeavored to answer the following question: what has been the effect of AI-Aqsa Intifada on children's psychology of play problems, according to teachers and principals, which might be due to variables of job, and sex, academic qualification, years of experience, specialization, location of school. To answer the question of the study, a questionnaire was administered to a sample of the target population: principals and teachers in the Northern Governorates of Palestine. The questionnaire was administered during the school academic year 2001 /2002. The population of the study totaled 2,182. The sample represented 23% of the total population. Of the subjects 520 were male and female principals and teachers at primary schools. The developed questionnaire consisted of 56 items distributed among five educational domains according to the following order: motivation, weakness of attention, excessive activity, social domain and violence. A 14 member jury of specialists, holding Ph.Ds, checked the validity of the study. The validity coefficient of the instrument was calculated by using a Cornbach Alpha equation. The validity coefficient of the domains' total degree, before the lntifada, the total degree of validity efficient was 0.97. The validity efficient of both periods was high. In addition, the researcher used SPSS. To analysis the data. after data collection and analysis, it was found that there were statistically significant differences among the subjects of the study before the lntifada and after the Intifada and until the completion of the study. The total degree of percentage for all domains was 43.34(%. The order of the domains, according to their importance, was as follows, weak of attention, violence, social domain, excessive activity and motivation. In addition, there were statistically significant differences in the effect of Al- Aqsa Intifada on children's psychology of play problems, according to their principals and teachers, due to experience variable, on all domains except the motivation domain. Finally, there were statistically significant differences in the effect of AI-Aqsa Intifada on children clue to sex variable on the social and violence domains. However, no statistically significant differences were found, in the effect of the Intifada on children, on the domains of weak attention, motivation and excessiveness, according to their principles and teachers, in favor of females. In the light of these findings, the researcher recommends conducting further studies on the effects of the intifada on children in the other governorates. It is also necessary to give the concept of playing more importance since it is like a mirror reflecting what goes inside the child, these making it casigr to understand his/her behavior. The researcher also recommends holding mental health courses for all stages and in all governorates. There is also a need for cooperation between school principals and teachers and the ministry of education to design classrooms which allow a high degree of quiet particularly when it comes to the teaching and learning of scientific materials since they need high concentration and quiet.en
