| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this contrastive study is to show the function of two morphemes in language usage. The first one is "ma" in Arabic; the other is "what" in English. The study explains the similarities and differences which appear through the using aspects in each language. The important similarities which the study shows are found in interrogative, relative, and exclamation. Meanwhile the differences are found in structure and some functions which belong to each morpheme. The study also shows some expecting difficulties in learning both languages as foreign ones. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على مضامين الاستعمال اللغوي التي تخص المورفيم العربي (ما)، والمورفيم الانجليزي (what) في اللغة الانجليزية، كما تهدف إلى تبيان الجوانب المشتركة في وظائف كل من المورفيمين، كالاستفهام، والصلة، والتعجب، وتكشف عن أوجه الاختلاف التي أبرزها الاستعمال اللغوي لكل منهما، وبماذا يختلف كل منهما عن الآخر على الصعيدين: الوظيفي والتركيبي. وقد كشفت الدراسة عن بعض الصعوبات التي يمكن أن تواجه عملية تعلم اللغتين لغير الناطقين بهما. | ar |
