The Educational Effectiveness of the Primary Teacher Preparation Program While in Service from the Teachers Point of View and it Relation with their Attitudes Towards Teaching Profession

| dc.description.abstract | This study aims at identifying the degree of educational effectiveness which the Teacher Preparation Program has on teachers of the first four primary school stages. It is based on the points of view of the teachers themselves and helps in understanding the relationship between the program and the trends teachers have towards the career of teaching. The researcher applied a descriptive analytical approach in the study. The researcher also included a questionnaire which consists of two main parts and eleven fields. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a group of specialized arbitrators. It was distributed amongst 178 teachers and 118 questionnaires were returned to the researcher giving a final sample of 66.3% of the study population. The data was analyzed using the (SPSS) program. The results showed that the degree of educational effectiveness for the preparation program reached 4.18 in average with a standard deviation of 0.30, mainly in favor of trends for the teaching career. The study proved that gender is an important variable that affected the degree of effectiveness for the teacher preparation program. It affects the trends teachers had towards teaching especially males. A second factor that affects the degree of effectiveness is the years of experience the teacher has in teaching. Those with more than ten year experience gave trends that differ from teachers with experience between 6 to 10 years. Moreover, the marital status also has an influence on the responses of the sample. It is clear that the personal characteristics of the teacher affects his/her trend towards teaching. Another variable is the place of residence giving favor for life in the city. In the light of these variables, the researcher recommends continuous teacher development and a necessary nonstop refinement of the preparation program to suit teachers needs. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الفاعلية التربوية لبرنامج تأهيل معلمي المرحلة الاساسية الدنيا أثناء الخدمة من وجهات نظرهم وعلاقته باتجاهاتهم نحو مهنة التدريس، ذلك من خلال الإجابة عن السؤال الرئيس الآتي: ما مستوى الفاعلية التربوية لبرنامج تأهيل معلمي المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا من وجهات نظرهم وعلاقته باتجاهاتهم نحو مهنة التدريس؟ ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقامت بتصميم استبانة مكونة من (91) فقرة، موزعة على محورين و(11) مجالاً، وتم التحقق من صدقها بعرضها على مجموعة من المحكمين المتخصصين، كما تمّ حساب معامل ثباتها وكان (0.767 – 0.945)، وتم توزيع الاستبانة على مجتمع الدراسة بأكمله، واسترد (118) استبانة، وبلغت نسبة العينة (66.3%) من مجتمع الدراسة المكون من جميع معلمي برنامج التأهيل التربوي للمرحلة الأساسية الدنيا في الفصل الثاني للعام الجامعي 2013/2014، وقد بلغ عددهم (178) معلماً ومعلمة. وكذلك تمت معالجة البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام برنامج الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية ((SPSS وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الدرجة الكلية لمجالات الفاعلية التربوية، قد أتت بمتوسط حسابي (4.18) وانحراف معياري (0.33)، وبدرجة مرتفعة لمجالات الفاعلية التربوية، وأن الدرجة الكلية لمجالات الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس، قد أتت بمتوسط حسابي (3.42) وانحراف معياري (0.30) وبدرجة مرتفعة لمجالات الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس. كما اظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن هناك فرقاً بين الفاعلية التربوية لبرنامج تأهيل للمرحلة الاساسية الدنيا من وجهات نظرهم واتجاهاتهم نحو مهنة التدريس تعزى لمتغير الجنس، ولصالح المعلمين الذكور. كما أظهرت وجود فرق بين الفاعلية التربوية ومتغير سنوات الخبرة في مجال التوجيه والارشاد ولصالح سنوات الخبرة من(10سنوات فأكثر) والاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس لصالح سنوات الخبرة (6-10سنوات). اما بالنسبة لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية ففقد تبين وجود فروق بين متوسطات استجاباتهم في الاتجاهات نحو السمات الشخصية للمعلم، ولصالح الحالة الاجتماعية (عزب/عزباء). ولمتغير مكان السكن، فقد تبين وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجاباتهم في المجالات جميعا لصالح المدينة. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة أوصت الباحثة بتوصيات منها: بضرورة الاهتمام بالتطوير المستمر للمعلم، وضرورة التجديد المستمر في تحسن برنامج تأهيل، بحيث يلبي احتياجات المعلمين في جميع المجالات. | ar |
