Water is the most important substance for human body and every living organism to  Survive. In addition water is essential for industrial, agricultural, touristic, and domestic usages. A significant proportion almost ranging from (60-80%) of water will become after that wastewater. Wastewater can be disposed of either in cesspits, an underground holding tank or a soak pits. But cesspits is a temporarily storage and must be evacuated frequently, so its maintenance and operational cost is probably high. Also its construction might have a high cost. On the other hand, the leaked wastewater from these pits into the ground could be the reason of serious environmental problems, such as bad odors, and pollution of the groundwater. Because of these potential problems of cesspits, it's preferable to collect and discharge this wastewater by designing and constructing wastewater collection network. The residents of Teeba area in Nablus City use cesspits to dispose of the wastewater, so the choice of designing a wastewater collection network have been adopted for this area. The start of the work required collecting data for the study area, such as the contour map, plans of existing and proposed road network, building regulations, the current distribution of houses, rates of water consumption and water supply, water sources, land use (commercial, agricultural, residential, or industrial use).Population data obtained also in order to estimate the water consumption and to estimate the wastewater generation amounts. The needed data about the area has been collected from several sources and with the assistance of official institutions such as Nablus Municipality and Palestine Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). These data has been analyzed through employing engineering software such as SewerCAD, GIS, AutoCAD, and Excel. SewerCAD was efficiently used in the design of the wastewater collection network, going through the hydraulic concepts related to this topic. The results is provided for the selection and design of the most appropriate, cost-effective wastewater collection network for the area. Appropriate plan and profile of the network were made, and the cost of network was estimated. The report is provided to summarize all the work.  en
