dc.description.abstractwith the increase of IoT devices, the demands for low latency computing for time-sensitive applications (e.g. intelligent traffic control, location-based augmented reality games (has been increasing rapidly. Conventional fog computing by itself cannot address such requirements and has to be complemented with our proposed fog computing improvements; increasing the number of fog nodes by using underutilized but compatible edge nodes in doing so we increased local processing and minimized latency, bandwidth and power consumption. In this paper, we discuss key issues in this area, and investigate potential solutions from existing work.en_US
