Water is an essential element to the continuation of life and the development of all the aspects in our life such as economic, social, industrial, commercial, service and others. Parts of water turn into wastewater. If wastewater is not properly treated then human health and environment can be negatively impacted. Unfortunately, in many areas we get rid of sewage by cesspits. Cesspits are widely used by many people who do not have an access to a wastewater collection network. These cesspits lead to the spread of gases from the top cover which results in bad odor and environmental pollution, groundwater pollution and its high cost. Besides that, contamination of drinking water. The resources of water in Palestine are limited so it is an important thing to design collection networks in order to be able to collect the storm water. In Palestine most of communities are not covered with storm water collection networks. If storm water is left uncollected or inefficiently was collected, this will lead to several consequences such as the difficulty in the daily life of people living in that area and the consequent economic damage. Storm water generates problems specifically for infrastructures and that might lead to floods which affect the lands and human. Heavy rains cause surface runoff, this runoff come from houses roof, street, fields, mountains and cliffs, when this runoff gathering it will make a significant amount of water. These accumulate runoff can cause serious and destructive problems if we don’t have an adequate infrastructure to drainage it. Deir Al Ghuson does not have a sewer network and storm water network, this was chosen to design by SewerCAD to design wastewater system, and use StormCAD to design Storm water network. To achieve the aforementioned objectives. First, all relevant data will be collected like contour map. Second, the networks will be designed by using SewerCAD and StormCAD, GIS and excel software. Finally, conclusions and recommendations will be given.
