Abstract
ArchVR is a Utility aimed for premium real estate and architectural design offices that use
Unreal Engine 4 as a real time tool for modeling. The real estate market suffers from a gap in
the interaction between the customer and the designer or the seller; where the customer
can’t view the property in real world dimensions before construction begins or even before
being physically there. Here comes ArchVR to fill the gap. ArchVR powered with Virtual
Reality headsets will provide designers with the ability to wander around the property
making adjustments to furniture, floors and tiles in real time and in high quality. Virtual
Reality also enables the customer to feel the real dimensions of the property making his
feedback to the designers more accurate and built on solid realistic experience.
ArchVR with Unreal Engine provide features to integrate projects by artists, decorator and
architects to achieve VR easily without worrying about the bolts and nails of Unreal Engine
and VR hazards. This includes a special VR game character that is capable of teleporting,
moving interactable objects, modifying materials on surfaces and furniture, changing
weather and time, take VR screenshots to view on out ArchVR mobile viewer and many
other features.
Using Unreal Engine as a platform for modeling will provide us with a vast set of features
used to make efficient high-end architectural visualization project that our utility will
continue on and extend on by add more and more details to the project. Also Unreal will
provide developers to extend our utilities to provide customized setups to add even more
immersive experience.
