Abstract
Many new youth organizations that work to help people in need are unorganized
and not promoted. Our project seeks to help organizing these small institutes while
connecting donors to people who need donations.
Our project will help promote projects that need support. It will enable stores to
donate goods as well as money. It will also help the organizations manage their donations
and events to help improve their society efficiently. The donations could be used to fund a
small business to become a source of income to a group, or to help satisfy the basic needs
of a group on a reoccurring basis or a one-time project… etc. It will also provide inapplication
notifications as well as email newsletters and notifications to many types of
users. These notification systems will be voluntary to use. This feature may be automated
according to the information crossover between users and different activities.
Our project will manifest in the form of a website. It will be used by donors,
organizations, stores and more.
We will begin by collecting information for our project by talking to people involved
in charities or store owners. Then we will set up a project plan and timeline to finish our
project in time for the discussion. After that, we will create a database and work on the
back-end side of the project. Later, we’ll be working on the front-end of the website.
Finally, given enough time, we hope to expand some features to include a mobile phone
application.
