Abstract
Jerusalem School of architecture Designed by: Yousef Tawfik hasasneh Site location: The site of the project is located in Jabal Mukaber area in Jerusalem, where three streets surround the site of the project, including a main road connecting the southern and northern areas of Palestine through the number one street in Jerusalem and the existence of a public transport route. Project functions: The project starts with the main entrance on the ground floor, which contains reception and exhibition halls, and then moving to a large and open space, which in turn leads to the existence of spaces to discuss and jury, and an interactive space between the students, which has a small internal auditorium and an urban planning studio. As well as the classrooms with a auditorium for 100 student, a library in the south wing of the building and also a large auditorium for 400 people with a private entrance from the east side of the project site, and then to the first floor which contains administration and staff rooms in the southern wing and a studio with two computer Labs, As well as an interactive space for students with a workshop for architecture students, then comes the second floor, which contains 8 studios, between them glass partitions to implement the idea and objectives of the project. Concept: Creating interactive spaces in the building to feel the open space in work without boundaries and the simplicity of the form came from the urban context and the lines of the site.
