- ItemNURSING STAFF JOB ROTATION AND ITS EFFECTS ON NURSES’ SATISFACTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT: CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY IN NORTHERN WEST BANK PUBLIC HOSPITALS(An-Najah National University, 2025-01-21) Abu-Al-Darak, Ahmad AbdelfattahBackground and Introduction: This study assesses the effect of job rotation on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among nurses. It, therefore, sets out to identify whether there is a positive relationship between the factors; that is, the effect of job rotation on these two variables and the strength of the relationship between them. Methodology: Cross-sectional study among 308 nurses from the North West Bank, Palestine. Data Collection: A structured questionnaire regarding job rotation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment was used to collect the data. Methods: Descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyses were conducted with SPSS version 24.0. Results: There were high positive linear relationships between job rotation and job satisfaction and organizational commitment. It was also observed that job satisfaction is such a strong predictor of organizational commitment, accounting for about 42% of its variance. Conclusion: In this respect, job rotation enriches job satisfaction and organizational commitment; hence, it is a worthwhile management strategy in healthcare. The results also point to the need for support at work if nursing staff is to be retained.
