- ItemHandy(2017) Aghbar, Emad; Abdalraziq, MohammadHandy is smart glove that tends to make usage of projector easier, more fun, functional and interactive, as it provides a controlling mechanism by hand motion and gestures to send commands to computer enabling the user to express more while presenting or working with projector. Furthermore, handy converts the surface of which the projector is projecting on into a touch surface enabling user to select and interact with screen easily. Main problem handy is willing to solve is making user not restricted to stay close to pc while presenting, by giving a way to control screen content remotely in an easy and simple way. we have made use of some sensors to detect the hand motion and a microcontroller to process the sensors input and form them to understandable commands to be received by the computer to control the screen, and a software driver was written in java to connect the device with computer; Bluetooth and IR were used to achieve communication between pc and the glove. This project has ended up to a prototype of a smart projector system consisting of the glove, IR camera provided in the Wiimote and a software, all combined to introduce a small system making presenting experience more fun.
- ItemLOCUS(2017) Abdalraziq, Mohammad; Aghbar, Emad; Qamhieh, ManarLocus is basically a service implemented as a mobile application aims to connect and relate memories, stories events and different information, with places and locations. It enables posting details, pictures, events and more to a certain place and also give the ability to others to view what has been posted in a certain spot on the map, which can be useful in many ways such as giving people the ability to rate and review shops and restaurants. Also, can be used as a tourist guide as the user can view information about certain place others have provided and posted. Promoting shops and restaurant is a focused part in this project, where a shop or a restaurant owner can provide menus, offers and other information to the app using a separate website letting people able to see them whenever they are close to the shop location. This project was implemented using cross platform technology to support major mobile platforms in market, mainly Android and IOS. Ionic framework was used to implement the application and Node JS for the server side and bootstrap for the dashboard website.
