Quality, Reliability and Limitations of Data on the Scientific Diaspora From the West Bank

Abstract

<p>This study examines the need of establishing a data base on the Scientific Diaspora from the west bank. It covers sources of data; data quality; difficulties confronting researchers and planners, and solutions-needs available under the prevailing conditions in the territory.</p> <p>The aim of this study is to highlight the vary character; quality; reliability and availability of the data required for the study of skilled emigrants originated from the West Bank- especially the proportion with science and technology qualifications. It also aims to highlight the most important factors- difficulties which have affected these data and thus, influenced the efforts of individual researchers.
