Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine “the effect of using English language games on the achievement of seventh grade students' grammar in Tulkarm District”. To achieve this, the researcher used a grammar test. This test was applied to (168) female students from seventh grade. The sample was divided into two distinct groups, each comprising 84 Students. The individuals are pupils from Tulkarm, and specifically attend Tulkarm and Nour Shams Basic Girls' Schools. The grammar pretest was administered to both the control and experimental groups by the researcher. The same group of students who were taught via language games also completed the posttest along with the students of the control group. The research results revealed notable differences in the academic achievements of the experimental group in pre and post-assessments, with the latter exhibiting superior performance. Furthermore, the post-test results indicate the presence of statistically significant variations between the group participating in the experiment and the control group, with the experimental group exhibiting superior performance. The researcher recommended that teachers should incorporate games into their grammar lessons, and games should be considered in English language learning programs. Furthermore, researches could be carried out across various proficiency levels and age groups, utilizing a more extensive participation, in order to generate more comprehensive findings.
