Abstract
<p>New heteroring-substituted thiophene-2-carbohydrazides incorporating pyrrole, thiophene,<br />
and pyridine moieties have been synthesized, characterized, and screened for possible<br />
antimicrobial activity. Some of the synthesized compounds exhibited promising antibacterial<br />
activities, but rather modest antifungal activity.</p>
