THE EXTENT TO WHICH MATHEMATICS TEACHERS ACCEPT DISTANCE LEARNING AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THEIR TEACHING PRACTICES IN NABLUS

| dc.description | هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة تقبل معلمي الرياضيات لتعليمها عن بعد وعلاقة ذلك بممارساتهم التدريسية في مدينة نابلس، ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وتم إعداد استبانة مكونة من (30) فقرة موزعة على محورين رئيسين وكل محور له ثلاث مجالات فرعية وهي: (محور الأول هو تقبل معلمي الرياضيات لتعليمها عن بعد ومجالاته الثلاثة هي تنوع المصادر التعليمية، البيئة التعليمية التفاعلية، عرض المادة العلمية. والمحور الثاني الممارسات التدريسية ومجالاته الثلاثة هي التخطيط للدرس، تنفيذ الدرس، تقويم الدرس)، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (180) معلماً ومعلمة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة عشوائية، وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة تقبل معلمي الرياضيات للتعليم عن بعد كانت متوسطة، أما درجة ممارساتهم التدريسية للتعليم عن بعد فكانت بدرجة مرتفعة، وأظهرت أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) لدرجة تقبل معلمي الرياضيات للتعليم عن بعد يعزى للمتغيرات(الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخبرة)، كما أظهرت أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) لدرجة ممارساتهم التدريسية للتعليم عن بعد يعزى للمتغيرات (الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخبرة)، وأظهرت النتائج أنه توجد علاقة قوية وطردية بين المتغيرين تقبل معلمي الرياضيات للتعليم عن بعد وممارساتهم التدريسية. وأوصت الدراسة بإجراء العديد من الدراسات والأبحاث المشابهة والتي تهدف إلى تحديد اتجاهات معلمي الرياضيات نحو التعليم عن بعد، كما أوصت بإجراء دراسات حول المعيقات التي تواجهالمعلمين في مسيرتهم التعليمية في ظل التعليم عن بعد، وأوصت بإعداد دورات تدريبية للمعلمين من قبل الجهات المختصة في مجال التعليم عن بعد لتطوير مهاراتهم. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to identify the extent to which mathematics teachers accept distance education and its relationship to their teaching practices in the city of Nablus. To fulfill the objectives of this study, a questionaire of 30 paragraphs was destributed to two axes with three sub-domains each (The axis of mathematics teachers’ acceptance of distance education - the diversity of educational resources, the interactive educational environment, the presentation of the scientific material. The second axis is the teaching practices - lesson planning, lesson implementation, lesson evaluation). The study sample consisted of (180) male and female teachers who were chosen by the random-class method. The results showed that the degree of mathematics teachers’ acceptance of distance education was medium, while the degree of their distance education teaching practices were high, and there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) to the degree of their distance learning teaching practices. It is attributed to the variables (gender, academic qualifications and years of experience), and the results showed that there is a strong, direct relationship between the two variables, the acceptance of distance education teachers and their teaching practices. The study recommended conducting a number of similar studies and researches aimed to determine the attitudes of mathematics teachers towards distance education. It also recommended conducting studies on the obstacles that they face. Teachers in their educational path in light of distance education, and recommended the preparation oftraining courses for teachers by the competent authorities in the field of distance education to develop their skills | en_US |
